David D. Magilke, MD, is double board certified in otolaryngology and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Magilke has extensive experience performing several facial plastic surgery procedures, including blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery. During eyelid surgery, Dr. Magilke eliminates excess skin and fat from the upper eyelids, the lower eyelids or both. This procedure helps combat noticeable signs of aging around the eyes for a more youthful, refreshed look throughout the upper face. Dr. Magilke can also alter a look sometimes referred to as "monolids," which results from the lack of a distinct crease in the upper eyelids; this phenomenon is prevalent in individuals of certain ethnicities, such as those of Asian descent.
In addition to his facial cosmetic surgery procedures, Dr. Magilke also offers a range of nonsurgical cosmetic treatments, including BOTOX Cosmetic® and Dysport® injections to temporarily relax the muscles as well as the overlying wrinkles. David D. Magilke, MD, obtained his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Oregon. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU). Dr. Magilke then fulfilled a residency in Otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. He belongs to the Association of Northwest Physicians and the Oregon Medical Association. Dr. Magilke has admitting privileges at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and Legacy Health Care System.
